Livio Bisterzo, the Italian Entrepreneur, is the CEO of Green Park Holdings. He established the food innovation company in 2015. Green Park applies innovation in its multichannel drinks and food brands while promoting health and nutrition.

Bisterzo began entrepreneurship while still in college by participating in events, youth culture, and marketing. He is also the founder and CEO of the HIPPEAS, an organic chickpea puffs brand. Bisterzo established HIPPEAS in 2016 as the company’s first brand.

In May 2017, Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor and Strand Equity Partners invested in Livio’s HIPPEAS. It is one the natural snack food companies registering a rapid growth. The brand combines creative flavors with nutrition considerations to offer customers with a unique kind of product. HIPPEAS offers six flavors namely Vegan White Cheddar, Happenin’ Hickory, Maple Haze, Far Out Fajita, Sriracha Sunrise Vegan and Pepper Power.

HIPPEAS are non-GMOs containing certified organic, kosher, vegan and free form allergen and gluten. As a way of giving back to the community, HIPPEAS is committed to giving out part of its income to Farm Africa in an attempt to promote Eastern Africa farmers.

Strand Equity Partners being a top US investment fund will help HIPPEAS in accelerating its growth drive in the US and the United Kingdom markets. DiCaprio who is also an environmental activist also joined the brand with a minority equity investment. The co-founder and managing partner of Strand Equity, Seth Rodsky noted that HIPPEAS is a unique and high growth brand that has exhibited success within a short period. It has managed to secure over 18,500 stores from Starbucks.

The focus of Livio Bisterzo is to build brands with a “better for you” objective. Strand Equity Partners are optimistic in leading the next evolution of the better for you snacking. The revenue projections of HIPPEAS are estimated at $35 million by the end of 2018.

Livio Bisterzo has also ventured into hospitality with business portfolios such as Pollen St and Maddox Club. He has also invested in the lifestyle business and launched several consumer brands including Little Miracles and Kyoku. His brands have been quoted and featured in Esquire, Vanity Fair, The Times, Harpers, The FT, and Sunday Style.
